Alice Wegmann faced significant emotional challenges after bidding farewell to one of her characters. In an interview on the videocast No Camarim, Pod, the actress revealed that she became depressed after finishing the filming of the series Onde Nascem os Fortes (2018).
"I became depressed when it ended because I was so immersed in it. I gained 12 kilos in almost a month. I had many anxiety attacks, cried a lot. It was the first time that had happened to me," she said.
At the time, only 22 years old, she portrayed Maria, a character searching for her missing brother. Alice also mentioned facing health issues during filming and had to be hospitalized twice:
"The first time, I had a heart problem. My heart rate dropped to 36, 38. They gave me two doses of adrenaline, and I had an allergic reaction. It was all chaotic. A week later, I was hospitalized with dengue."
